Push Our Buttons
Buttons are necessary on every website, however their design is easily overlooked. Giving your buttons a nice style is one way to greatly enhance the look and feel of your page in a way that isn't glaringly obvious.
Glossy, 3D looking buttons seem to be the trend lately because, though some may not like to admit it, everyone is intrigued by shiny things...don't lie. Most people probably look at them and think they look nice and must be fairly complex. WRONG! Upon closer examination we can see that these fancy buttons are simply rectangles with gradients applied to them.
The following video explains exactly how to make your own glossy buttons. We chose this tutorial because the final product looked the most realistic and life-like. On the other hand it does move a bit fast and assumes the viewer knows their way around photoshop already.
